This one was pure joy to paint – a celebration of all the colour, energy and life that wildflower meadows bring. I wanted it to feel like that moment when you're walking through the countryside, and everything is just bursting into bloom. The breeze, the bees, the swaying grasses... it’s impossible not to smile.
 
It’s full of layered colour and tiny details – every flower with its own little personality, all working together to create that happy, slightly chaotic harmony only nature can pull off.
 
The original is set in a simple white floating frame, which gives it a clean, contemporary feel and really lets the colours sing.
