Meet the Artists

CARLA ELIZABETH
Carla is an artist and workshop leader born in Suffolk, where the skies, shifting tides and textured coastal paths inspire much of her work. She paints in pastels and acrylics, capturing the atmosphere and emotion of the landscapes she loves. After a career in graphic design, she returned to painting in 2022 and her work often reflects quiet moments of connection with nature and love of the coast.

HILARY GEELAN
Hilary is a Suffolk-based artist who finds inspiration in quiet moments and solitary walks with her sketchbook and dog. Her work captures the fleeting beauty of stillness — those gentle observations that often go unnoticed. With a background in education and a deep love of nature, her sketchbooks are reflective, honest and rooted in place.

HAYLEY ROWLANDS
Hayley Rowlands is a ceramic artist based on the Suffolk coast, known for her appearance on The Great Pottery Throw Down. She creates hand-thrown pottery and sculptural pieces inspired by nature, resilience and the wild beauty of the landscape. Her work celebrates the irregular, combining bright and muted tones on stoneware clay to form unique homeware, jewellery and garden sculpture.
