About the event
Hilary Geelan is renowned for her beautifully hand-made sketchbooks. Join Hilary and myself for this relaxed two-week workshop, where you’ll learn the techniques behind creating your own, in a lovely balance of creativity and simple bookbinding. Week 1 – Thursday 30th April CREATIVE COVER MAKING
We’ll explore playful mark-making using masking tape, acrylic inks, and fine liner pens to create a layered, expressive cover design.
Week 2 – Thursday 7th May BOOK CONSTRUCTION
Using your artwork from the first session, you’ll cut, fold, and sew your pages to complete your finished book. A calm, creative experience for a small group where you’ll make something truly personal to take home.
Included: All materials, plus hot drinks and homemade cakes
