Feathered Friends
Every bird has a story.
Feathered Friends began as a quiet creative distraction during breast cancer treatment – a way to calm my mind and focus on something gentle and hopeful.
Over time, six birds emerged, each carrying its own meaning and message.
They became small reminders of strength, hope and connection – little companions through uncertain days.
Scroll down to explore the collection, or watch the video below to hear more of the story behind the birds, and how this collection – perhaps the most special and meaningful I’ve created to date – came to life.
Through this collection, I’m also proud to support charities Breast Cancer Now, Little Lifts, and Cancer Support Suffolk by donating at least 21% from every sale.
The Collection
Take a moment to meet the Feathered Friends
Below you'll find the six birds in the Feathered Friends collection, each carrying its own message and meaning.
You can discover more by downloading the accompanying booklet, or explore my online shop to purchase cards and prints.

The Kingfisher
Hope
A flash of bright colour, even on the greyest days. The kingfisher reminds us that hope can appear when we least expect it – small, vivid and joyful.

The Woodpecker
Determination
The steady tapping of a woodpecker echoes through the woodland.
A quiet reminder that persistence, patience and determination eventually find their reward.

The Avocet
Grace
Elegant and poised, the avocet moves with quiet confidence.
A reminder that grace can be found even in difficult moments – in how we carry ourselves and move forward.

Long-tailed Tits
Connection
Rarely seen alone, long-tailed tits move through life together.
A reminder of the strength found in friendship, family and shared moments.

The Robin
Remembrance
Often appearing when we need comfort the most, the robin is a gentle symbol of remembrance.
A quiet reminder that those we love remain close to our hearts, always.

The Nuthatch
Finding another way
Moving headfirst down the tree, the nuthatch does things differently.
A reminder that when life changes direction, there is always another way forward.
Supporting Others
Through art, nature and connection
It was important to me that something positive could come from my diagnosis. This collection is my way of helping others, which is why a minimum of 21% from every sale supports Breast Cancer Now, Little Lifts and Cancer Support Suffolk.
Every purchase helps support people navigating breast cancer – offering comfort, care and connection when it’s needed most.
