This calendar began as a deeply personal project for artist and sketcher Hilary Geelan.
 
When Hilary reached the same age her mother had been when she died, she decided to spend a year drawing something she noticed, found or experienced each day. What began as a way of navigating a significant milestone became a beautiful collection of observations celebrating nature, everyday moments and the simple act of paying attention.
 
When Hilary showed me the completed calendar, I felt it deserved a wider audience. The sketches were too lovely to remain a personal keepsake, so I worked with Hilary to design, print and produce a calendar that could be shared with others.
 
Each calendar folds out to A3 and includes plenty of space for appointments and reminders, alongside a selection of Hilary's original drawings inspired by that month.

I hope it brings the same sense of appreciation, creativity and quiet joy that inspired it in the first place.
